Care Concierges, LLC was founded by Sheila Jones and Denise Watson with the intention of helping others with tasks or services they are unable to do or don't want to do. We are passionate about giving you time back to do the things that make you happy and live a little less stressed. Through our high quality concierges services, we can make your life a little easier.
With more than 50 years’ experience in healthcare collaboratively, we are in touch with the needs of seniors, busy adults, and the challenges of running a household while also managing a career. We understand what it takes every day to keep things going. There is an old saying, “It takes a village. . .,” Let us be a part of that village. We are patient, positive and love helping people. Sheila has spent her entire life caring for others in her personal life as well as professional. She started her healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant in 1989 with Novant. After being there 4 years; she then obtained a position with a local hospice as a CNA. As she gained more knowledge of hospice, she moved into other roles that helped to fulfill her desire to help others. Office manager, Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Volunteer Services in a few short years.
She later retuned to school and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix, while still being a fulltime mom/wife and maintained her fulltime role at work. After several more years with the local hospice, she decided to leave and follow new adventures. Care Concierges, LLC is that new adventure.
Sheila lives with her husband Clark in Mount Airy, NC. They enjoy time with family, taking their camper on family trips, especially to the beach. Sheila also enjoys flipping fashion as a hobby.
Denise is a Surry County native with deep roots in her community both personally and professionally. For more than 22 years, she served as the Chief Executive Officer for Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, a local non-profit organization. During her tenure, the organization grew significantly across North Carolina and Virginia, adding two hospice inpatient facilities and multiple complimentary programs to meet people where they are in their healthcare trajectory. Serving as a hospice professional allowed her to see firsthand the importance of identifying community needs and focusing on services to benefit others. Since leaving her role in 2020, Denise continues to offer her expertise through executive level consulting and interim services for other hospice programs. With some extra time on her hands, Denise began to think about services that were lacking in her community and set out to create Care Concierges, LLC to meet that void.
She obtained her Registered Nursing degree from Surry Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, and a Masters of Nursing and Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare from University of Phoenix.
Denise is married to Greg Watson and they live in Ararat, NC. They have three adult children, two dogs and two cats. Denise enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is an avid pickle ball player, loves the beach, walking, home makeovers, and traveling.
Home care services are more focused on health care or senior care. A concierge service provides other personal services, such as errand running, personal assistance, companionship and transportation, all through a one touch connection.
We work with a limited number of clients at a time to ensure that we can have ample time to devote to each of our client's needs. It's is recommended that appointments be prescheduled to ensure concierge availability.
All information about our clients and their families is kept confidential. Personal information is only shared with the staff members that will be providing services and only to the extent needed.
Invoices will be sent via email or mailed upon request. You can pay with debit/credit card or ACH through our secure payment system. Reoccurring or automated payments can also be set up.
